Travel

  • Go to www.airfrance.fr or https://www.kenya-airways.com/fr/fr/. Select your departure airport (example: Paris) and your arrival airport: Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International. Then select your dates of stay. Tip: Avoid the airline EgyptAir as well as flights with several stopovers (delays, luggage not present on arrival, extra night in hotel if plane is missed, etc.).

  • Once you have your international flight in your pocket, it is necessary to book your domestic flight (from Nairobi to Eldoret). You can book your flight here: Jambojet.com. This flight takes 35 minutes and costs about 100€ round trip.

Pour bénéficier de la navette privée : il faut prendre le vol de 12h10 à l’aller (Nairobi) et celui de 17H10 au retour (Eldoret).

It is not possible to arrive at the center in the morning
and not take the 19:50 return flight (Eldoret > Nairobi), otherwise you'll miss your international flight!

  • For late arrivals (after 6 p.m. in Nairobi): you must stay in a hotel in Nairobi. We recommend the Airport 67 Hotel Nairobi. This is a 100% secure hotel with a private shuttle that picks you up at the airport on your arrival in the evening and (re)drops you off at the airport the next day for your domestic flight to Eldoret (service included in the room rate). Booking procedure:
    > By e-mail to: info@67airporthotel.co.ke or by WhatsApp to +254 724 773 270
    > Specify that you are coming from the RUN'IX ATHLETIC CENTER. Rate = single room: 45€ and double room: 55€ (breakfast and shuttle included).

Private shuttle

Once you arrive at Eldoret airport, we have the possibility to pick you up directly with our private shuttle (this is an option).

Horaire de la navette privée : prendre le vol de 12h10 à l’aller (Nairobi) et celui de 17H10 au retour (Eldoret) avec la compagnie Jambojet.

It's an hour's drive to the center. Our shuttle will drop you off safely right inside our training center. You'll receive a shuttle confirmation e-mail the day before you arrive at the center!

You can easily recognise the driver by his "RUN'IX Athletic Center" sign.

There is a charge for this service - depending on the number of people to be transported.

This service is not mandatory!

If you'd like to make your own way to the center, there's absolutely no problem. Cabs are available at Eldoret airport. Just tell them our address - they'll take you straight to us. The same applies to your return flight: even if it's more complicated, you'll need to find a cab in Iten.

You are obliged to do this online (before your departure).

Once you have obtained your eTA (within 72 hours): you must print out the paper version and carry it with you during your trip.

Vaccines

You can find all the information you need about the vaccines on the Institut Pasteur website by clicking here.

No vaccinations are required to enter Kenya.

We don't recommend any vaccinations, even if you're planning to go on safari. But as we are not doctors, it's best to discuss this directly with your GP.

Covid-19: sanitary restrictions are completely lifted. No need to present a negative PCR test or vaccination certificate.
